AFTERCARE FOR YOUR FRESH TATTOO

AFTERCARE 1

With a new tattoo, the care is very important.
Since it is a wound, responsibility lies with the wearer respectfully to take care of it.
A suitable cream, ointment or coconut oil should therefore be carefully applied to the spot. This protects against dehydration and accelerates the healing process.
Residues of the ink can be rinsed with clear water and gently blotted.
The friction with a towel is not recommended because it can irritate the skin. It is better to use a gauze compress.
Thereafter, the spot should be creamed again.
In addition, a PH neutral shower gel should be used  and avoid direct sunlight.
Please avoid bathing and taking a long shower as it will soften the tattoo.
The renunciation of sports, solarium, sun, sauna and scratching is highly recommended.

AFTERCARE 2

If a medical wound patch has been used, it is recommended to wear it for 3-5 days.
Then it may be removed and washed off with lukewarm water.
This patch accelerates wound healing, is breathable and protects the wound from germs and pathogens.
Nevertheless, you should consider other points for the aftercare and cautious deal with your tattoo.
If the following is noticed within the first 24 hours, please remove the patch immediately and follow up
„AFTERCARE 1“ :
Itching, redness, pimples, irritation and smell could be possible signs of an allergy.

A CLIENTS PERSPECTIVE

For my first tattoo, I thought about for several years whether I let the motif sting and where. From my friends, I heard a lot of criticism. "When you are old it will look terrible" or "That will stay forever". In my opinion, my skin will shrivel in old age anyway. In addition, a tattoo is part of my story and the only thing that matters is that I like it. It is like a photo album or a colouring book, which gradually becomes complete. I change, and my story grows with me, but the memories remain. A tattoo does not always have to have a direct meaning, sometimes you just think it is beautiful. Criticism should be expressed only deliberately, because everyone can and should decide for themselves what he carries on his body. For a tattoo artist, it is important for me that he or she has a similar point of few as I have. You should be able to communicate with each other and especially at the first tattoo, the artist should always listen to your questions, because in the beginning you have more fear than necessary. In addition, the personal touch is important for me. Every tattoo artist has his own signature, which should be clearly identifiable, because I am wearing the artwork on my skin probably for the rest of my life.
